When looking at this website it will quickly become apparent that many of the recipes involve the use of a Thermomix … BUT … I also have a very old Kenwood Chef that I have had for just on 46 years (goodness, dare I admit that!), and love that just as much, as well as the usual other small electrical appliances that are part of most domestic kitchens.
Since April 2011 when I got introduced to my very own Thermomix … I have been hooked. And like so many before me have declared … it is hard not to be!
Having a Thermomix in my kitchen has allowed me to do so much … in terms of saving time, effort, and money, that I can’t imagine being in the kitchen without one. Over time it has also helped me make much of my own food from scratch, which to be honest, was not even on my radar when I first decided to buy this most amazing piece of kitchen equipment.
So if you don’t have a Thermomix, use your food processor to do the milling, chopping or mixing functions. If there is cooking involved then do so the conventional way. To help with this, where I have adapted recipes from other sites, I have given the link to the original recipe which will cover the conventional method used. I hope that regardless of what equipment you have at your disposal, you will still be inspired by the recipes on this site.
For those that wish to find out a bit more information about a Thermomix, or how best to acquire one, then I can highly recommend my dear friend Angie. Angie is not only extremely hard working, but will ensure that you are well looked after which is so important to me. Angie’s details are:
